Wellness and Nutrition Counseling

Wellness and nutrition counseling is a holistic way to approach overall health. Your wellness and nutrition program begins with an initial consulation where we will focus on your health issues, concerns and goals. We will address your health history, diet, relationship with food, as well as other physical and emotional issues that influence your life and food choices. From there we will develop your personalized health program, tailored to your lifestyle and specific needs, creating strategies to achieve your goals. Holistic Health Counseling helps you feel invigorated like never before, while you change your relationship with food. Helping you to address and improve concerns in areas such as:

  • Weight issues
  • Digestive problems
  • Sleep Disturbances
  • Depression
  • Anxiety and Stress
  • Diabetes
  • Allergies
  • Candida
  • Mentrual/ Hormone imbalances
  • Addictions to caffeine, cigarettes, sugar
  • Preganancy (singleton and multiple) nutrition

The food we eat becomes our blood cells, feeding our tissues, organs, and our bodies. When we eat foods with limited nutrition our cells weaken. When we eat richly nutritious foods our bodies thrive.

We nourish ourselves in many ways other than food. A lack of attention to our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs contributes to illness.

My work is to help you nourish yourself in as many ways as possible, to create health, balance, vitality, joy, and to prevent disease. Providing you with tools for lifelong wellness.

To more fully integrate wellness changes I recommend a 6 month program.
Included in each program:

  • Two one-on-one session per month
  • Comprehensive health history and dietary analysis
  • Ongoing, personalized support between sessions to answer all of your questions
  • Menu planning assistance and supplement recommendations
  • Easy to cook recipes
  • Sessions can be conducted in person or by phone
  • Access to books, audio lectures, and articles
  • Goals and weekly action plan
  • Discuss seasonal and local foods, as well as ways to eat more sustainably

    For an additional fee:
  • Nutrient dense detoxification program with ongoing support
  • Pantry & fridge overhaul including a list of must-have healthy foods
  • Supermarket tour for a fressh look at the foods available as well as shopping techniques
  • Cookin classes complete with recipes and
    cooking tips

Once you have completed your wellness program you can arrange to continue receiving assistance in a shorter period of time or you can purchase a wellness card, making an appointment when needed. The final appointment is free and can be passed onto a friend or family member for a free initial consultaion.
